About Us
National NGO Federation
NFN is an umbrella organization of NGOs working in various fields of social welfare and development. Established in 1991 for the promotion and protection of social justice, human rights and pro-poor development, NFN has evolved as a national organization working for the entire NGO movement in Nepal. It is actively working to unite, organize and mobilize civil society to create a peaceful, democratic and just Nepal.
NFN is a democratic organization run by a team of NGO professionals who volunteer their services to achieve the vision of NFN.
National NGO Federation (NNF) is a nonprofit umbrella organization of various NGOs working for the public welfare and interest in Nepal. It is registered in Central District Office of Kathmandu and also affiliated to Social Welfare Council in 2019. The registered office is situated in Battisputali, Kathmandu.
NNF evolves as the guardian organization for development of affiliated NGOs. It aspires to improvise and stabilize the member NGOs by coordinating, cooperating and boosting their activities towards social welfare of the people. NNF motivates to enhance the capacity building of the various NGOs through operation of skillful trainings and campaigns. It aims to play the vital role to unify all the NGOs for welfare of the people.

NFN is an autonomous, independent and politically non-partisan organization, governed by its own Constitution, amended in 2018. It has prepared and enforced an NGO Code of Conduct (CoC) to increase the accountability and transparency of NGOs. The CoC has
Together, they work as a provincial catalyst to support member organizations in leadership and professional skills development, and to enable them to face the challenges of sustainable development.
NFN follows a highly participatory approach in the delivery and implementation of its services. Its focus is on qualitative capacity building of local member NGOs and, in particular, on improving their management, governance, skills and competencies.

Contributing to enhance the management and operation of its member NGOs for local participation and development.
Working for the safeguarding of their rights and interest to ensure the better output for the people.
Ensuring the roles of NGOs towards the social progress and lead as the whistle blower.
Maintaining the loyalty to secure peace, rule of law, national integrity, sustainability, social justice, democracy and development of human rights.
